-- TSANet (Technical Support Alliance Network), the industry’s
largest vendor-neutral support alliance, today announced
the results of a special election held to finalize the 2004
TSANet Board of Trustees. The following candidates have
been elected for two-year terms that began August 1st: H.L.
Fahnestock (Dell), Ann Pinyan (Hewlett-Packard), Mark Valenzuela
(Sun Microsystems), Tom Weidner (Unisys), and Jeff Zimmerman
(VERITAS).
These board members join the existing board members serving
the second year of their two year terms: Diane Akin (IBM),
Dave Crowther (Novell), Wendy Eckman (Microsoft), Yuriy
Granat (Oracle), Colin Hughes (VERITAS/Europe), and Griff
Williams (Citrix).
“We have made a lot of progress
over the past year in further developing the TSANet infrastructure,”
said Dennis Smeltzer, TSANet executive director. “More
and more companies are finding that the TSANet model is
the method of choice for providing seamless, collaborative
support. We are continuing to focus on the multivendor support
needs of all our members to ensure they can provide the
fastest, most reliable support in the industry,” he
concluded.
